Dave has been playing the piano since he could sit on the stool without falling off!
His father, a pre-war cinema organist encouraged him from an early age.
He played weekends at Blackpool Ice Drome from the age of 11 till 14 and left school at 15 to become a pro musician.
At age 18 he was musical director of Top Ranks flagship venue, the "Gaiety Bar" in Blackpool.
He played extensively on cruise ships and in the USA during 1980/81 and in 1982 became musical director for the word famous showman percussionist
"Eric Delaney" where he remained for 8 years playing summers in Blackpool Tower,
both with the band and on the "Mighty Wurlitzer" and touring in the
UK and throughout Euope during the winters.
He moved to Spain in 1990 and in 1995 became musical director and
compere of "The Town" nightspot in Benidorm.
In 2000 seeking a change he worked in Jersey and in 2001 joined the famous "QE2" and went on to work for the worlds best cruiseline "Seabourn"
In 2002 he became musician and compere at the "Malibu Piano Bar" in Benidorm where he is currently playing.
He also owns and runs "Star Studios" in La Nucia, a small but high quality recording and post production studio.
